La Vie en Rose
La Vie en Rose is an original acrylic and mixed media painting on box canvas, measuring 30 centimetres by 25 centimetres (11.75 inches by 9.75 inches). The words La Vie en Rose are on the painting, as well as Life.
This was the signature song of Edith Piaf written by her in 1945 and became popular in 1946. It is a French phrase and literally means "life in pink" but generally it relates to seeing life through rosy pink glasses, meaning everything appears cheerful and happy.
This is a colourful abstract painting, with hearts, flowers, vegetation, swirling spiral designs and various other pretty icons. This would make a perfect miniature painting as a gift to brighten up a wall.
The painting is varnished, painted around the edges and ready to hang. It will be despatched with a Certificate of Authenticity and tracking number.
